Before i leave for vacations i got my hands on a new toy. A little black box with 3 letters on the front, LX3.
I had read a lot about this camera, before buying it, and to be honest i was expecting a lot more. You see i've already seen much of the features of this camera on the Olympus C7070, which, by the way, i still think it's a great camera. Any way, i must keep in mind that LX3 is a p&s camera so with that in mind i think it's more than OK.

One of the functions that LX3 offers, is the ability to take photos in 16x9 format, thus the name of this triptych.
All three photos was taken with the LX3 in color mode, but i believe this B/W version is closer to what i had in mind.

Exif info (from top to bottom):
   - iso 200, f8, 1/30
   - iso 200, f8, 1/1600
   - iso 200, f8, 1/60
Noise added in post processing.

Many visitors asked me if there was a way to see these photos in bigger size. The only way i figured out, was to change the orientation of the triptych from landscape to portrait. So here it is...

It took me a while to really know what I think of this set. I Actually like it ! I really like the minimalist graphical views you get, Raises a feeling of "middle of nowhere". This triptych definitely works. Well done !

I really like it. The big grain/noise and strong contrasts look fantastic. The choice of three images is better than three times one image. They complement very well.
